Opportunity
Professional Communications Systems wanted to create a system design for a powerful visual communications solution for convention and community center environments that could be marketed as a visual communications solution.

Solution
Using the experience and technical capabilities of systems engineers, various retrofit solutions were created for using visual technology in a more environmental design-compatible solution. These solutions ranged from video walls or single displays in architectural casings to complete architectural rebuilds of areas to accommodate the visual communications technology.

Stairway Displays - This display retrofit (above-left) encases displays found in a typical primary stairway corridor. This exaplle features a 1 x 6 video wall used for branding, advertising and promotions for the resort.

Lobby Directory - This display (left) encases displays found within lobby areas throughout the resort. It encompasses architectural treatments found in the building's interior.

Main Corridor Display - Throughout the facility, digitalsignage provides a powerful method for branding and advertising outside meeting rooms. The digital signs in these areas have been recessed into the existing woodwork in a method designed to compliment the architectural elements of the resort.

Main Corridor Video Wall Displays - This application shows how ineffective static signage can be replaced with dynamic signage to fulfill a number of communications needs.

These concepts, presented to the Tampa Convention Center, show a combination of primary corridor signs and room identification and scheduling signs encased in architecturally-compatible materials.
